LB Nagar has one of the densest clusters of function halls in east Hyderabad — along the Sagar Ring Road, towards Kothapet and Nagole, and down Nagarjuna Sagar Road towards Vanasthalipuram. Most families visit three or four before booking. This guide tells you what to look for, based on what we see planning events in these halls every week from our studio in LB Nagar.

Eight things to check before you pay the advance
- Parking. Ring-road halls fill their lots by 7 PM on weekends. Ask how many cars fit and whether there is overflow.
- Catering policy. Some halls insist on their caterer or charge a fee for outside catering. Get it in writing — it changes your catering budget.
- Decor access. Can your decorator enter the night before? Overnight access is worth paying for on a large mandap.
- Generator and AC. Included or charged per hour? Summer weddings need both.
- Kitchen and green rooms. Is there a working kitchen for the caterer, and separate rooms for the bride and groom?
- Turnaround time. If there is a morning and an evening booking, when must you clear out?
- Sound limits. Residential-area halls have 10 PM limits — matters for a sangeet.
- What the rate excludes. Cleaning, security, overtime and taxes are commonly extra.
The areas, briefly
Sagar Ring Road halls are the largest and easiest for guests coming from Uppal or Dilsukhnagar. Kothapet and Chaitanyapuri have mid-size halls with tighter parking. Nagarjuna Sagar Road towards Vanasthalipuram has newer halls with better lots. Nagole and Bandlaguda have community halls suited to smaller functions.
Booking timeline
For muhurtham dates in November–February and April–May, book three to four months ahead. Off-season, a few weeks is usually enough. Pay the advance only after the rate card and exclusions are in writing.
